We link entrepreneurs, start-ups, SMEs and big business with colleagues working in all parts of the health and care system across Kent, Surrey and Sussex, as well as nationally through the AHSN Network.
If you have a product or service ready for use in health and social care or you need some support to scale up, we can help ‘bridge the gap’. We help companies through the healthcare maze, saving them time and money, and help them understand how the system works.
We help the health and social care system by signposting to national programmes, horizon scanning innovations and solutions, and providing evaluation and outcome measurement amongst a range of other services.

The AI in Health and Care Award
The new Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Health and Care Award will make £140 million available over 3 years to accelerate the testing and evaluation of the most promising AI technologies that meet the strategic aims set out in the NHS Long Term Plan.
The award supports technologies across the spectrum of development from initial feasibility and conception through to initial NHS adoption and testing of AI technology within clinical pathways.
Initially it focuses on four key areas: screening, diagnosis, decision support and improving system efficiency.
A call for applications will run at least twice a year.
The first call is now open and closes at 1.00pm on 4 March 2020.
Innovators interested in applying for the AI in Health and Care Award are encouraged to talk to their regional AHSN for advice and support.
